The Stand

And so I stand

Before you,

With all that I am

And all that I have,

Stripped naked of my cover

My worldly pride and earthly gains

Waiting to be purified in your mercy;

To be wiped clean by your precious blood.

And so I kneel down

Before you,

Surrendering my burden and my shame

The crown of vanity and the ring of pride

Lie crushed before The Mighty Cross;

In reverence to your greatness

In awe of your love divine.

As long as I have life in me, I will live for you, Jesus

As long as I breathe, I will speak of your love and sacrifice

As long as I have words with me, I will write of your greatness,

For you, my Redeemer, deserve all the glory.
