Just want to share how God answers prayers when we are in desperate needs. This is my (Anosh Lepcha) story and this happened today (02/07/2019). Nothing fake about it š
PROBLEM
As you know (some of you may not know as well) I've changed my job and my office is about 15 km from where I staying. During office hours, it's very difficult to get Ola/Uber and it's very expensive as well (Uber/Ola usually cost Rs300-400 oneway). This route does not have good bus connectivity as well. It takes almost 1 hour in normal traffic & 1.5 hours during office hours. So I was struggling a lot since yesterday (my first day in office).Also, since the rent deposits are very high in Bangalore and I took a leave for a month, I cannot shift home before next month. Overall, my situation was desperate.
DESPERATE PRAYER
Today morning, I took an Uber-pool as I wasn't getting any other option. I got it after multiple attempts and took 1.5 hrs to reach office. It's not a good thing to reach late in your second day at office. So while I was travelling, I was annoyed due to the delay and then I prayed a feeble prayer.
All I said is, "God I know you can somehow make a way out here because now I'm short of ideas and desperate. "
PRAYERS ANSWERED
I reached around 11 am today and fortunately my guide was also late. So I was safe.
Secondly, I met with this new recruit whom I had seen yesterday but had not talked. As we started the conversation, I realised he also lives nearby and comes alone on a bike. So I told him about my situation and he offered me the ride - daily. So, I took the return ride today with him. Though the drop point is 1-2 km from my place but still it's more than I could ask for and I was very thankful to him. But then, I was thinking if in case our timings do not match daily, I will be in some trouble ( as we are in different departments). So I was thinking I need a backup solution.
As I was standing on the road to book an auto (I still had some 2-3km to cover), a stranger on a scooty asked for a direction. Surprisingly, he had to cross my place to reach his destination. So I told him the direction and asked him for a ride which he willing agreed. I realised he had rented a scooter from Drivezy which cost him 3000 for a month. This gave me the idea of getting a rented scooty. That's the backup plan I was worrying about.
SOLUTION
So I'll be getting a rented scooty for a month before I have enough funds to buy one and get my license. It's funny, how God answers prayers even when you are not at your best self. Just wrote this long post to say "Thank you to God " and hopefully it reminds you to be thankful to Him. Jesus loves and cares for us.
